Rat City Rollergirls

The members of a Seattle flat-track roller derby team were captivating not just for their athleticism and strength, but also for the intensity and fearlessness they exhibited on the track. The camaraderie among these women inspired me to photograph their 2014 playoff season. The images were selected for exhibition on bus shelters as part of the King County Metro panoramic mural project.
